The Red Bull RB11 designed by Adrian Newey, was driven by Daniel Ricciardo and Daniil Kvyat. This was the last Red Bull with engines badged as "Renault" and title sponsor Infiniti due to a breakdown in the team's relationship with Renault. The RB11 was launched with a camouflage livery before reverting to their normal livery for the race season. $350AUD

Red Bull had a terrible start to the 2015 Formula One season with a lack of performance from its Renault power unit compounded by reliability problems. The team slumped to 4th place in the Constructors' Championship, with no wins for the first time since 2008. The team's best place was 2nd place each for Kvyat at Hungary and Ricciardo at Singapore, tracks suited more to the handeling of the car rather than outright speed. Overall, the chassis proved to be at most on par with the dominant Mercedes team, but the engine proved to be a letdown to the car's performance. Daniel Ricciardo came 6th in the 2015 Australian GP.

Perth Western Australia's own Daniel Ricciardo joined Red Bull Racing in 2014, replacing Mark Webber who retired from F1 after 12 years of competition at this elite level. Daniel Ricciardo quickly proved he was worthy of the ride with a 2nd place at the Australian GP and 3rd place at the Spanish GP and Monaco GP - he has consistently out performed his team mate Sebestian Vettel the current world champion.

Ricciardo crashed during his opening run in Q3 and received a 5-place grid penalty for changing his car's gearbox. In the race misery continued for Ricciardo at his home Grand Prix with the car braking down during the installation laps and was forced to start 2 laps down as his mechanics worked to repair his car. Ricciardo later retired on lap 26 after his engine failed. He rated it as one of his worst race weekends.

Ricciardo scored his first pole position at the Monaco Grand Prix, and led the early stages of the race, taking charge for the first 30 laps. But due to a very long pitstop, it took nearly 40 seconds to find a set of tyres, he lost the race lead to Lewis Hamilton and finished the race in 2nd. The Red Bull RB12 Formula One racing car was designed by Red Bull Racing, the car is very similar compared to the Red Bull RB11. The car used a Renault Renault R.E.16 (rebadged as TAG Heuer) 1.6L (98 cu in) direct injection V6 Turbo Hybrid.
